Professorial Inaugural Lecture Series: 'Using MRI to improve Cardiovascular Health Outcomes'

Professor Gerry McCann to speak at the University on Thursday 22 September 2016.

Professor Gerry McCann will be delivering the College of Medicine, Biological Sciences and Psychology's Professorial Inaugural Lecture on Thursday 22 September 2016.

Gerry is Professor of Cardiac Imaging and a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Career Development Fellow at the University. His lecture will be on the topic: 'Using MRI to improve Cardiovascular Health Outcomes', focusing on his research in Aortic Stenosis, coronary artery disease and subclinical heart failure.

The lecture is open to staff and students only and is free to attend. The event will take place in the Frank and Katherine May Lecture Theatre, Henry Wellcome Building, 5:30 - 7:30pm. It will be followed by a buffet and drinks reception.
