Please try to consolidate your stationery orders

If you frequently order stationery, please ensure that you consolidate orders to avoid placing small value orders (below £10).

By doing this we end up having Reduced CO2 emissions as a result of fewer deliveries and we save time (and therefore money) thanks to the reduced number of invoices we have to process.

We are doing this so that we can eventually move to receiving scheduled deliveries, for which our supplier, Office Depot, will give a 1% discount on all orders.

Whatever you can do to aggregate orders (eg, per section or department) and hold off purchasing one-off non-urgent items would be appreciated.

Office Depot stationery products are available to order through Smarter Purchasing (SP). The University receives a rebate for all orders placed through an e-procurement system, therefore departments that have SP should ensure that the order is placed via SP.
