Open scholarship and research data
The University of Leicester Research Data Management (RDM) Survey of 2015 asked researchers about the data they generate, how they organize it, and how they store it for the long term. If you are interested in the responses for your College, an overview of findings is available.
To build on these responses, the University Research Data Management Project is currently gathering researchers’ requirements for RDM through a series of one-to-one research data Pathfinder Interviews with staff and postgraduate research students. If you would like to participate, please let us know at researchdata@leicester.ac.uk.
We hope that these Pathfinders will help us to meet the challenges that researchers face when managing their research data and maximise the benefits to the whole community.
You can find advice and support resources on the research data management website, including data management planning guidance for the main research funders.
