The National Student Survey, aimed at final year undergraduates, has just launched.

If you’ve walked around campus this week it can’t have escaped your notice that the National Student Survey has just launched.

This annual survey is run by independent research company Ipsos Mori and asks all final year university students about their experience. It is a vital measure as it is benchmarked against the whole sector, and the results form a major part of the calculations for University league table positions.

The results are also used to create the Key Information Sets which are then displayed on university websites and on UCAS course searches.

The survey consists of questions grouped into a range of categories which include teaching and assessment, academic support, learning resources, organisation and management and the Students’ Union. There is also a question on overall satisfaction with the opportunity to fill in free text comments.

Please encourage your students to complete the survey, which is running until 30 April.
