National Student Money Week

Students can get some great tips on how to keep their personal finances healthy during National Student Money Week, running from 8-12 February.

The Student Welfare Service will be helping to run a whole range of activities aimed at encouraging students to think about their personal finances and budgeting.

We would like to encourage staff in all departments to be aware of the events and to draw them to the attention of any students they are in contact with, who they think could benefit.

There will be an interactive workshop in collaboration with the Students’ Union and an information stand in Union Square for students to get more background info on all the support available.

Not only this, students will have the chance to win a £5 LE Card in the ‘Shopping Basket Competition’, where they'll have to guess the difference in price between a basket of Branded goods compared to Non-Branded. One specially chosen winner will also win the chance to win the contents of the basket!

Take a look at the full timetable on our dedicated webpages and please share this with your students.
