This week is World Mental Health Day and to mark this we are offering two half-day courses on identifying and helping those with mental health issues.

Tuesday 10th October 2017 is World Mental Health Day and as part of our commitment to raising awareness and providing support to those with mental health issues, we are offering introductory half-day Mental Health First Aid training sessions for staff who wish to understand, identify and help someone who may be experiencing mental health issues.

Through the training, you will gain knowledge of common health issues and an understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge the stigma surrounding it.

We are offering two half day courses, the first on Tuesday 10 October 2017 from 2 to 5pm and the second on Friday 13 October 2017 from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

If you are interested in participating in an introductory session, please register by emailing the Staff Health and Wellbeing Team at Please note that we can only take a maximum of 12 participants on each course.
