Macmillan World Coffee Morning

This Friday sees the World’s Biggest Coffee morning as colleagues across the University do their best baking to raise money for cancer research.

In this post we’ve wrapped up some of the main places to get your Friday cake fix (and raise money for charity while you’re at it!

George Davies Centre

A group of Student Operating Department Practitioners will be selling a variety of cakes near the Atrium Café from 9.30am. Donation of cakes or single buns, muffins etc, including gluten free and eggless items are welcomed from 8.30am on the table opposite the stairs.

Danielle Brown Sports Centre and Freshers’ Marquee

There will be two stalls to visit one in the Danielle Brown Sports Centre and another in the Freshers Marquee. 10am-5pm.

Health and Wellbeing – 106 New Walk

From 9.30am to 12noon at 106 New Walk (Ground Floor - Occupational Health and Wellbeing). All are welcome to pop in to share some cake and coffee and find out more about the department. 

There are also other coffee mornings happening all over campus in the following locations:

  • Astley Clarke (Payroll and Pensions)
  • Nixon Court
  • Oadby Student Village
