The new Leicester OnTrack programme aims to support University of Leicester students from widening participation backgrounds during their time at Leicester.

Whether a student's priority is securing part-time work and internships, accessing leadership opportunities or gaining the confidence to sell themselves to employers, OnTrack helps students make the most of their time at University. The OnTrack team is here to help students navigate their way through all the options and opportunities available to them and point them in the right direction.

The programme is self-selecting, if a student is eligible then they will be contacted when they arrive and have full access to the wide range of opportunities through both the Students' Union and the Career Development service, as well as signposting to other students support services, including:

  • Career Coaching
  • Leicester Award
  • Peer Mentoring
  • Professional Mentoring
  • Student Leadership Positions
