Find out more about the largest research and innovation funding programme in the world on Thursday 23 June.

The University is holding a Horizon 2020 (H2020) information and networking day on Thursday 23 June offering you the chance to discuss ideas, bids and opportunities with experts from the UK Research Office (UKRO) and European Enterprise Network (EEN).

H2020 is the largest research and innovation funding programme in the world, and funds research both on a 'bottom-up' basis (where researchers can submit their own ideas without predetermined priorities), and also on a top-down basis, via specific research topics set by the Commission. There are opportunities for researchers at all stages of their careers, individually or in collaborative projects.

The H2020 information day will cover not only the main H2020 schemes and opportunities, but will also include dedicated sessions on bid writing, and key elements of proposals such as impact, risk and IPR. Leicester researchers are also encouraged to invite current, or potential collaborators from other institutions to attend and discuss potential bid options.

For more information about the day, view the event programme or contact Victoria Hayward via vjh15@le.ac.uk.

Please book your place to attend.
