Good luck to our staff running the London Marathon

This weekend sees thousands of people pounding the streets of London, and some of our staff will be taking part.

Professor Mike Lovell from the Department of Geology will be running alongside his daughter, who is a specialist registrar in palliative care to raise money for St Christopher’s Hospice, in Sydenham, south London, which trains palliative care staff who go on to work across the country.

Marie Muir, from Career Development Services, will be raising money for the Anthony Nolan campaign, which is saving the lives of people with blood cancer.

You can donate to Mike and Marie's fundraising sites at the links above, and we wish them both the very best of luck.
