Get some Food for Thought on your lunchbreak

Our new Food For Thought series aims to shed new light on everything from the National Student Survey to University finances.

The Food for Thought sessions are a series of lunchtime talks aiming to get staff thinking about areas of the University that they may not be familiar with, and shed light on some of our more complex areas.

The series begins on Wednesday 16 March with a talk on Cloud IT and how we use it. Guy Reay and Matin Vohra from IT Services will be leading a session between 12.30 and 1.30pm in the Ken Edwards Lecture Theatre 1. They will be looking at the perceived risks around Cloud IT and talk about how we are already using it safely at the University.

Food for Thought will be running monthly throughout the year looking at such diverse areas as demystifying league tables and understanding how we deal with risk. We hope that you will be able to come along and join in.

Follow-up discussions on Yammer will allow colleagues to share best practice and discuss the ideas raised in the sessions.
