Happy New Year! We are pleased to announce that in response to feedback there is now an extension for applications for funding.

Please complete the application form (Word Document) which, must be emailed to Heidi Bird by the 12 January 2018 in order to be considered by the Committee.  Successful applicants will be notified by 26 January 2018.

The funds are available thanks to our donors.

The Leicester Endowment Fund and Annual Fund Committee welcome applications for funding for the year 2018.

There should be a clearly identified need, problem or opportunity and the project is expected to generate a clear, positive impact for current students or for the students of the future. Successful projects will normally have at least one of the following ambitions:

  • To enhance our students’ learning, as well as their ambitions and prospects for future career success and contributions as citizens
  • To enhance our students’ well-being, resilience and sense of belonging
  • To support individual students or groups of students who might otherwise not enjoy access to valuable opportunities
  • To encourage participation in higher education in general, and specific subjects in particular, in ways that will help us address social disadvantage and injustice
  • To encourage excellence, innovation and student-centred approaches for the benefit of current and future students.

You can take a look at the criteria for application here.
