Free tickets available for staff to visit ‘A Taste of Science’ event at National Space Centre

Launch your tastebuds to whole new levels at this gastronomic event of galactic proportions that considers the science behind our love of food.

For the first time, our friends over at the National Space Centre are hosting an evening of eating, drinking and learning and have offered free tickets to University of Leicester staff as a special treat. ‘A Taste of Science’ includes food, live music and some very special guests. The event will take place on the evening of Saturday 4 March and will feature live demonstrations by food scientists, some of the best chefs in Leicestershire and Aerospace Engineer/ Great British Bake Off competitor Andrew Smyth.

To claim a pair of free tickets, simply contact marketing@spacecentre.co.uk before midday on Monday 27 February. Please note that tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
