Make sure you complete this online course by Friday 30 September.

The Finance Division has launched an online Fraud Awareness course that all staff are required to undertake. Developed with the School of Management, the course features videos and short exercises and should take about 15 minutes to complete.

The course can be accessed via Blackboard. Once you have logged on to Blackboard, select the Courses menu and then select the Finance folder. The course is referenced AD_FI001 Fraud Awareness: Getting to Grips with Fraud and Corruption.

In launching the course, Martyn Riddleston, Director of Finance, stated:

"Unfortunately, fraud can and does occur in higher education and it is our duty to ensure our staff are informed and made aware of it. This short course is aimed to raise general awareness of the topic amongst staff. Members of staff should raise any concerns they have with me or my senior staff. If they so wish, staff can utilise our University’s whistleblowing policy."

Staff are asked to ensure that they complete the course by Friday 30 September 2016.
