Next Food for Thought lunchtime session on Thursday 27 October to brief academic and professional services colleagues on the latest results from the 2016 National Student Survey (NSS).

In this month's Food for Thought lunchtime session taking place on Thursday 27 October, Lisa Cunningham, Planning Office will brief colleagues on the latest NSS results.

The session will be built around a demonstration of the interactive information dashboard that we are using to disseminate the results, as well as a general introduction to the survey. The session will cover both our internal results as well as external results that allow comparison with the sector.

Attendees are encouraged to come with ideas around views and cuts of the NSS data that might be useful to them. These can then be used to improve our reporting offer around the NSS.

The lunchtime session will take place on Thursday 27 October, 12:30-1:30pm in Ken Edwards Ground Floor Lecture Theatre 2. Book your place at the talk now, and then get involved in the post-event discussion on Yammer.

Food For Thought is a monthly lunchtime talk, open to all staff. The talks are an opportunity for you to come and hear about a range of topics from across the institution, broaden your own knowledge and meet colleagues from around the University. They aim to get staff thinking about areas of the University that they may not be familiar with, and shed light on some of our more complex areas.
