Food for Thought: Demystifying the Student Record

The latest Food for Thought session, open to all staff, is being hosted by Deputy Academic Registrar Laura Freeman.

Student records are absolutely vital to the quality and success of the student experience here at the University, and at a time when the Government is introducing the Teaching Excellence Framework, which has a huge student experience focus, it's more important than ever to be aware of how our systems work.

In this session, being held on Wednesday November 16 at 12.30pm, Laura will look at the key components and systems that make up the student record, and the processes that feed into, or are dependent on, an accurate student record.

She will also explore the concept of the ‘single student record’ and the steps that are being taken at the University to turn that vision into a reality.
