Flexible and Distance Learning Forum

Posted by rmt22 at Feb 14, 2017 03:57 PM |
The next forum, which will be held on Thursday 23 February will look at what impact 'flexibility' has on the design and delivery of courses and students' experiences.

Joining the forum will be Stella Jones-Devitt, a National Teaching Fellow from Sheffield Hallam; and potentially a representative from the HEA. Stella ran a fascinating project in conjunction with the HEA around flexibility, and recently launched the national Flexible Learning Community of Practice. You can view a short (5 min) video about the HEA/Sheffield Hallam project below.

As always, the forum is open to anyone involved in, or interested in, distance learning – whether from a teaching, administration or research angle. Refreshments are provided. The two-hour forum will start at 10am in KE 324, 3rd floor of the Ken Edwards building.

Please sign up here to help with catering numbers (though you are also welcome to turn up without registering). The forum is chaired by Helen Dexter and supported by the Leicester Learning Institute.
