Everything you need to know about the NSS - briefings this month

Posted by rmt22 at Dec 20, 2016 01:15 PM |
Staff briefing sessions are being held this month starting on Thursday 12 January.

The National Student Survey (NSS) will be launched at Leicester on Monday 30 January and close on Sunday 30 April.

This survey asks final year students across the country about their experiences at university to help inform prospective students and provide universities with feedback.

To update you about changes made to the National Student Survey and the approach Leicester is taking to support completion, the Student Experience Team will be holding four briefings which all staff can attend. In the sessions, we will provide:

  • An overview of the 2017 Survey, including new questions
  • Information about the contact Ipsos MORI (the organisation employed to administer the NSS) will make with students
  • Guidance on how the NSS can be communicated to students
  • Further information about the steps we are taking at Leicester to encourage completion

The sessions will take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 18 January, Bennett Upper Ground Floor Lecture Theatre 1
  • Tuesday 24 January, Bennett Lower Ground Floor Lecture Theatre 2
  • Monday 30 January, Rattray Lower Ground Floor Lecture Theatre

All sessions will take place between 12noon-1pm.
