Director needed to lead our approach to innovation and enterprise

Following the announcement of the Leicester Innovation Hub, we are looking for a Director.

The Leicester Innovation Hub seeks to be at the forefront of inspiring people and innovation by delivering world-leading teaching and learning, research, discovery and knowledge exchange. The Director post, which is being advertised to internal candidates only, will lead on and help deliver this strategy.

Leicester Innovation Hub is a three year, ERDF part-funded, SME applied research and innovation support programme and will be based in our newly-refurbished multi-purpose research and innovation space.

The post-holder will work in partnership with the leadership of the Research and Enterprise Division, the Research Institutes leads, The Advanced Studies Director, the Enterprise College Leads and other Enterprise facing initiatives such as ASDEC, Space Park - Leicester, Charnwood and MIRA.

They will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the Innovation Hub strategy will encourage inter-disciplinary knowledge exchange aligned with our smart specialisations.
