Coming Soon: Managing temporary academic and research recruitment in Eploy

Posted by rmt22 at Sep 11, 2018 09:50 AM |
We’ll soon be recruiting temporary academic and research workers through our new recruitment system, Eploy.

This will make it easier for you to recruit to temporary roles through the same system that’s in use for permanent staff recruitment. A new timesheet system is being launched in Eploy to manage hours worked for temporary academic and research roles that have   previously been managed via Unitemps.

Please note that all temporary professional services and student roles will continue to be managed by the Careers Unitemps office.

The Atypicals team will also be renamed UniStaff to reflect the change in processes that will be implemented by winter 2018. These changes will:

  • Provide an enhanced candidate portal that allows candidates to manage temporary and permanent applications in the same place.
  • Enable managers to request temporary bookings in a process similar to  permanent recruitment
  • Allow managers to track and manage their vacancies more effectively  with improved  automation  and greater transparency
  • Manage the candidate on-boarding process electronically to make the experience quicker, easier and more candidate friendly

We will be hosting a number of drop in sessions, to tell you more about the new UniStaff timesheet system and to answer any questions you may have. These sessions are open to anyone who is involved in the recruitment of temporary workers for academic and research staff. Please book your place by emailing Anusha Patel on

The sessions are being held on:

Centre for Medicine – Tuesday 9 October

  • 11am-12noon: Ken Edwards Room 526

Main Campus – Thursday 11 October

  • 11am-2pm: Attenborough 212

Main Campus – Monday 15 October

  • 11am-12noon: Bennett Link Lower Ground Floor Lecture Theatre 4
