Professor Iain Gillespie will be giving a talk on Research on Thursday 21 July at 12.30pm.

Following recent talks by the President and Vice-Chancellor, and the Provost and Director of Finance on different aspects of the University's Transformation, Professor Iain Gillespie, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Research & Enterprise will be giving a talk on Research at the University.

With a number of recent changes, including the creation of four new research institutes and the uncertainty around funding following the UK's decision to leave the European Union, Iain will talk about our major priorities and the new research strategy.

The talk is being held in the Peter Williams Lecture Theatre (Fielding Johnson South Wing Basement) on Thursday 21 July at 12.30pm.

These all-staff forums are being held so that the University Leadership Team can speak directly to staff and answer any questions during what we know is a challenging and uncertain time.
