  • Named after Sir Maurice Shock who served as a Vice Chancellor at Leicester from 1977-1987

Please note that access to this building is restricted to authorised persons only (staff and students of the University). All staff and students will need to present a current ID to portering staff to gain entry. All external visitors will need to sign into the building and where possible a list of these visitors should be provided to portering staff in advance of the event they are attending - zone3porters@le.ac.uk.

The fire alarms in MSB are tested every Wednesday at 1:45pm, unless there are exams taking place. In the event of a alarm at any other time, fire evacuation procedures must be adhered to in a prompt and safe manner.
