Paper : OTTER Project

In this workshop, the OTTER team will share information about the OER project they have been working on at the University of Leicester since April 2009. Team members will describe the activities involved in producing OERs out of existing teaching materials, in partnership with academics from a range of departments. They will also outline the challenges and opportunities they have encountered in relation to the key stages in the OER process, including copyright, technical and formatting issues. In particular, the team will refer to emerging evidence from beneficiaries as to the benefits and uses of OERs.
