The workshop is funded by the School of Media, Communication and Sociology (MCS) Research Development Fund and supported by the International Promotional Cultures Research Group (Public Communication Cluster), as well as the China Studies Research Alliance (Chisra), University of Leicester.

Speakers include:

Dr. Kara Chan, Professor, Department of Communication Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University;
Dr. Giovanna Puppin, Lecturer, School of Media, Communication and Sociology, University of Leicester;
Ms. Felicia Schwartz, Founder and Director, China Insight.
