ROX Control First Implant

André Ng, Professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology, has carried out the first implant in Leicester of a vascular coupling device to treat drug resistant hypertension.

The study, called ROX Control HTN, uses a small metal stent to join together an artery and vein in the groin to reduce blood pressure.
