GENVASC study team wins CLRN award

The GENVASC study team won the award for the ‘Most Innovative Recruitment Strategy’ at the CLRN Research Awards held at Devonshire Place on 17th October, 2013.

The team were recognised for their novel method of recruiting a large pool of research participants in an extraordinarily time and cost effective manner. To date, over 3000 participants have been recruited from across Leicester City, with further recruitment expected as the study extends into West Leicestershire.
