AeroTraNet 2 ESR meet at the MCAA first general assembly

AeroTraNet 2 Early Stage Researchers attended the first general meeting of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), Brussels, Saturday 23 November 2013. The meeting presented the Articles of the newly funded MCAA, which sidelines the Marie Curie Fellows Association as a voluntary organization for the long-term collaboration among Marie Curie Fellows.

AeroTraNet 2 was represented at this meeting by five Early Stage Researchers, as current Marie Curie Fellows, plus the Coordinator, as former Marie Curie Fellow. All fellows took part at the first election of the Executive Board of the MCAA, which will hopefully complement the Integrated Training offer in the ITN AeroTraNet 2 network with wider collaboration among present and past ITN Marie Curie Fellows.

This event was an excellent first opportunity for the AeroTraNet 2 ESRs to meet face to face for the first time. The group was immediately at ease and ideas for mutual visits and exchanges are already taking shape.
