Inattention problems more likely in very preterm children

20 May 2014 - The latest research from PriME researchers Dr Samantha Johnson and Dr Camilla Gilmore and colleagues suggests very preterm children (born at less than 32 weeks gestation) may have particular difficulties with attention at school, and that raising teachers’ awareness of inattention problems may be advantageous in enabling them to identify very preterm children who may benefit from intervention.
