University Hospital of Leicester (UHL) Libraries & Information Services

UHL libraries logoUniversity Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) Libraries & Information Services provide high quality information services to various parts of the Leicestershire health economy. They can assist with literature searches, training, getting hold of books and articles amongst other services. They are experienced in finding and sourcing literature to inform clinical and management decision making.

All staff of University Hospitals of Leiecester, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and public health staff of Leicester City Council are eligible to join for full services at no cost to them. Staff of other departments should contact the library to discuss eligibility.

NIHR - Research Design Services East Midlands

The NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) provides free advice on research design to researchers developing proposals for open, national, peer-reviewed funding competitions for applied health or social research.

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Research Design Service supports researchers in designing and developing high quality research proposals for submission to national, peer-reviewed funding competitions for applied health or social care research. This is a free national service throughout England which is locally delivered. In the East Midlands the RDS EM provides a range of expert advice to help local researchers.
