  • This is the best way to find a good place to live 
  • Ask friends about their letting agents and landlords
  • You will learn very quickly about the good ones and the bad!

  • Common Rooms and various places throughout campus have informal listings
  • The Leicester Mercury has a  Rental Section every Monday. You can also search online with the link above.

  • Some agencies will charge for administration costs
  • Some have a reduced fee for students
  • Some do not charge administration costs for students at all. 
  • Agencies cannot charge you for putting your name on a list or for supplying you with a list of addresses.

The Student Welfare Service is open from 9 - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
