Course Overview

This interactive workshop helps to increase disability awareness and confidence, so that managers will be better placed to support disabled colleagues and future applicants. The training will instigate conversations around disability, providing a greater understanding of Disability Equality and  disability Rights and building confidence for managers.

This training is part of the University’s wider commitment to increasing disability awareness and equality.

What will I get out of this course?

This is an interactive workshop, this session is designed to help increase disability awareness and confidence, so that managers will be better placed to support disabled colleagues and future applicants.  It will instigate conversations around disability, providing a greater understanding of Disability Equality and Disability Rights and building confidence for  managers.

Who is it for?

The training is open to all University managers, supervisors and staff who facilitate Performance Development Discussions (PDDs) with their staff.

Participant preparation needed? No preparation is required.

This training will assist managers, supervisors and staff that carry out Performance Development Discussions (PDDs).

None.
