Plone - Introduction

Course description

Course Overview

Step by step approach, good pace to the learning, started at the basics, but still managed to cover enough to be immediately useful"

This course will introduce you to Plone and includes hands-on, practical exercises and scenarios offering you opportunities to recall, reinforce and apply your learning.

Plone is a powerful and flexible content management system (CMS) for building and maintaining web sites. With Plone not only is content editing easy, but it also does a great deal of "behind the scenes" work, like generating navigation menus and allowing for collaborative editing, enabling users to focus on the most important aspect of their site content.

Please note we are no longer running this workshop. Please refer to the Built it and Maintain it sections on the Web Centre pages in the interim.
