Following on from the Manage long documents in Word - Part 1 - Essentials course, this course will introduce you to the additional features which will help to improve your long documents.  After a demonstration you will have time to work through the exercises most useful to you.

  • Caption your figures and tables
  • Add automatic numbering to your headings
  • Know how to control page numbering
  • Know how and when references, advanced styles and header/footer features can be used

What prior experience do I need?

Before attending you must have attended Manage long documents in Word - Part 1 - Essentials or already have knowledge of:

  • How to apply and format heading styles
  • How to create an automatic table of contents
  • How to add page and section breaks
