Introduction to CMIS, the University Teaching Timetable Software


Course Description


The course will give a basic introduction to the use of CMIS for the creation of the University Teaching Timetable.

Unfortunately there are no further dates scheduled at present.

When workshop dates are available they will be released and advertised here on the course description.

Further dates for this course will be arranged during the new academic year 2017-2018 and will be announced later in the year.  In the meantime, if you are interested in attending this course please contact Organisational Development email:, we will monitor interest and arrange dates 'on demand' as necessary for this training.

What will I get out of this course?

Having completed the training, course attendees will be proficient in using the basic functionality in CMIS and will be supplied with supporting course training materials along with additional web page based resource.

Who is it for?

This workshop is only for Departmental Timetable Contacts responsible for producing the teaching timetable and any additional departmental members of staff who also support the timetabling process.

Participant preparation needed?

Some pre-course preparation will need to be undertaken, the details of which will be distributed once confirmation of a place on the course has been issued.

What prior experience do I need? General computer literacy.
