Informing members and colleagues that their may be some disruptions whilst this is being installed.
The Danielle Brown Sports Centre is having its poolside Air Handling Unit (AHU) replaced with a new one. We are informing our members and colleagues due to the disruption this will cause with the ambient temperature on our poolside facilities.
The work will commence May 16th 2016 and potentially take six weeks to complete, we are aware this in turn will reduce the pool and spa air temperature but we assure all members that it is still within the HSE guidelines of temperatures to swim and bathe.
Therefore we will not have any disruptions to the pool area as first thought and all facilities will remain open.
We ask our members to choose if they would like to swim or use the wet side facilities, if you do find this to be unsuitable for you, we also have the Roger Bettles Sports Centre (RBSC) who will cater for all members who wish to use their facilities.
Suitable extract will be put in place for our members comfort and the pool and spa water temperatures will remain unaffected.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused but the replacement of the AHU is a necessity to keep your sports centre a safe and enjoyable environment.
If you have any questions please speak to any of the Danielle Brown Sports Centre Team.
Please note that although the Roger Bettles Sports Centre is available as an alternative, this is for existing members only, pay as you go users are unfortunately not eligible to attend this centre.
