About us

Jesters Ultimate is the Leicester University Ultimate Frisbee Team- a bunch of fun, easy-going students who share a passion for throwing a disc about come wind, rain, mud or sunshine.

Ultimate Frisbee is a self-refereed, non-contact game in which two teams attempt to score by catching the disc in the opposition’s end zone. It’s a fast, athletic sport that’s played indoors and outdoors.

We train four times a week throughout the year and anyone can turn up to any session at any time and try it out.

We field competitive men, women and mixed teams both regionally and nationally.

Most players come to us as complete beginners so you can learn and develop along side your new teammates, however experienced Ultimate players are always welcome to join our well-established team.

As well as a desire to win, we also like a lot of fun. Ultimate Frisbee is an amazingly social game, even more so at university level. We have regular socials with great drinks deals and a yearly TOUR! (last year we went to Rimini) that will absolutely help make your year.

As a member of this club you will be bound by the clubs Code of Practice (pdf).

In addition, there is a Code of Practice (pdf) for all Sports Association members. You will be a member of the Sports Association by virtue of membership of any sports club.
