About us

Despite being one of the newest sports clubs in the University, the Futsal team was one of the most successful last season. Placing 4th in the Midlands Premier division of the BUCS league the team qualified for the National BUCS championships, as well as finishing 2nd in the Leicestershire Local League. With over 40 members last year we are welcoming players of all abilities to join and enjoy this fun, fast-paced game which is growing in popularity all over the world.

Training and Intramural

All members get the chance to join a team and play some matches in a weekly intramural league run by the club. This guarantees game time and serves as an opportunity for players to impress as well as providing friendly competition within the club. Training sessions will also be run to improve individual skill and teamwork.

Two teams will be entered into the BUCS league as well as the Leicestershire Local League, providing members many opportunities to be selected and represent their university competitively.

Being a new and growing club members are guaranteed to meet lots of people and make new friends at the training sessions and social events.
