Free staff 7 day pass - FAQs

Our 7 consecutive day all access pass for staff can be used between the 2nd July and 31st August (last activation 24th August). We have had a great response so far and hope you enjoy your time with us. Here are a few of the frequently asked questions:

Q) Where can I activate my pass?
A) Come to either Danielle Brown or Roger Bettles reception and collect your pass.
Q)  When do I activate my pass?
A) Activate your pass on the day that you want to start your 7 consecutive days.
Q) What do I bring to activate my pass?
A) Bring your University ID, £1 for the locker and whatever you will need for your visit e.g. gym kit/ swim suit/towel.
Q) Do I need to fill a form in?
A) You will need to fill out a Health Questionnaire.
Q) What facilities do I get to use with my pass?
A) You will be able to access all of the facilities on offer at both of our sports centres.
Q) Will I be able to book onto classes with my pass?
A) Unfortunately the pass does not allow you to book onto the fitness classes, however we recommend to telephone reception ahead of your visit to check availability. Danielle Brown tel: 0116 2523118 Roger Bettles tel: 0116 2231500.
Q)  I think I qualify as staff but I don’t have a University ID card?
A) Please bring an email from your line manager stating that you work regular hours for the University.
