Activities and Events

leaping student redWe have developed a number of activities to allow you to personalise your programme journey and get as much out of your engagement as possible.

These opportunities take place throughout the two years of the scheme and will allow you to find our more about university and explore what it has to offer you , as well as developing the key academic and personal skills vital to be a successful university student of the future!

Things to know:

  • Our activities are designed to fit around your school/college calendar to enable you to benefit from the programme alongside your school work.
  • All core activities will take place between January and December to ensure that the majority of engagement is completed before you start your main preparations for Year 13 summer exams.
  • During the first year, you'll visit the University every couple of months and on average spend approximately one hour each week enaging with LEAP related activity.
  • The majority of our activities are supported by our current university students who will give you a real insight into student life here at Leicester.
