Visas and Immigration

These pages provide valuable information, links and advice on a range of topics relating to visas and immigration. You will also find key forms and documents that you may need during your study.

Please Note: The UK government changed the immigration route for students, on 5 October 2020. The ‘Tier 4’ route has now become the ‘Student’ route. Most of the changes are not significant but they might affect you and might affect the information on this page. We are in the process of updating our webpages and expanding the information we have online so you will be able to answer standard queries. Whilst we make these changes we recommend you read the guidance provided by the Home Office and UKCISA around the Student route. The latter also offers a student advice line.

We are currently unable to offer appointments to students but if after reading the online guidance you have a non-standard query not covered in guidance please email visas@le.ac.uk.
