Collecting your student ID Card

Your student ID Card is created as part of the registration process. If you have uploaded a suitable photograph when completing online registration, your card will be waiting for you to collect when you arrive at University. If you are an international student you can collect your card at the Visa Checkpoint. If you are a UK, EEA or Swiss citizen, you can collect your card at your Identity Check.

If you are a UK, EEA or Swiss citizen, you will need to show either your passport or full UK birth certificate at your Identity Check. Please remember to bring this document to University with you so that you can become a fully registered University of Leicester student and get your student ID card.

Ordering a replacement student ID card

If your card has been lost or stolen you'll need to order a replacement. You can do this by visiting the Student Services Centre in the Charles Wilson Building. There is no charge for a replacement card.

A replacement photograph is not normally required.
