The guidance should be read in conjunction with Senate Regulation 11: Regulations governing student discipline.

Students may appeal a decision/penalty imposed by a Plagiarism Officer, an Authorised Officer, a Senate Discipline Panel or a Fitness to Practise Panel where there are grounds to do so. Information for students about this process can be found within the Student Appeals and Complaints pages of Regulations for Students.
