Business as Usual Improvements

ImprovementsAlongside the strategic planned work of the Student Lifecycle Change Programme, there are a number of smaller continual improvements being made to student systems and processes. These improvements may have been identified through 'requests for change' sent to IT Services, or through working with colleagues across the institution.

Whilst these aren't large projects, these 'business as usual' improvements will improve some of the day-to-day processes for many staff, which will impact positively on the student experience.

Improved 'Student Lookup' tool in MyStudentRecord (MSR) This improved functionality provides increased search parameters when looking for student details in MSR, including name, department and email address. There are also improved filter options to drill down your returned search further. January 2016
SITS Upgrade 2016 (IT Services project 325) This upgrade to the latest release of SITS will enable the Student Lifecycle Change Programme to implement the Academic Model, as it will provide new functionality and enhancements for improved management of different courses and student types. May 2016
