Nvivo12 Support Drop-in Session

Session Overview

This drop-in session is for participants who wish to use NVivo for their data analysis. Participants need to bring their own data & specific questions about NVivo and the tutor will provide individual feedback & assistance.

Questions and guidance could be around any of the following aspects of using NVivo:

  • Build a project (import data, create memos)
  • Label your data (annotations, coding, auto coding)
  • Organise & manage your data (search folders, sets, classifications & attributes)
  • Interrogating patterns (queries, relationships)
  • Display your data (reports, models/maps, charts and diagrams, framework matrices)
  • Teamwork in NVivo (merging datasets, coding comparisons)

You are welcome to bring your own laptop to the session but please make sure that you have NVivo installed prior to attending (see instructions here: https://www2.le.ac.uk/offices/itservices/ithelp/my-computer/programs/home/nvivo)

Facilitator

 

Dr Réka Plugor is a Lecturer in Work and Employment at the University of Leicester. She has extensive field experience in both quantitative and qualitative research projects from planning, to design, to implementation and through to analysis and publishing of results. She has a broad range of research interests located mainly within sociology of work, education and youth.
