Course Overview

Leadership is an essential element of our experience of research and work.  As a postgraduate researcher you may aspire to a leadership role in your future career.

This workshop explores theories of leadership, conceptions and experiences of leading and being lead, and examines leadership in practice.

Intended Learning Outcomes:

  • build knowledge of theories of leadership;
  • apply these theories to research and other work environments;
  • analyse the skills needed to become a future leader.
