Feedback

We encourage all staff and users of Division of Research and Enterprise to give us their views about any of the services. Feedback is used to help us improve our services. All suggestions will be considered and all compliments will be forwarded to the members of staff concerned.

Following these procedures will guarantee a response and is more effective and immediate than contacting individual members of the team, who might not be available at the time or whose responsibilities might have changed.

To make a formal complaint

Please let us know as soon as possible so that remedial action can be taken.

Step 1

Please contact the Manager responsible for the service. They will deal with the matter immediately where they can. If an immediate resolution is not possible an explanation will be given as to what action will be taken next.

Step 2

If you are still not satisfied you should address your complaint in writing to the Director’s PA who will investigate and reply to you in writing within 5 working days.

Step 3

Whilst we will make every effort to resolve your complaint if, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the response you have received you may progress your complaint in writing to Ms. Caroline Quest, Director of Research and Enterprise, University of Leicester, University Road, Leicester, LE1 7RH.

The Director will respond to the complainant in full within twenty-eight days.
