Research Salon: Heritage Research Unbounded

Posted by gmcl1 at Apr 15, 2016 09:35 AM |
Tuesday 17 May, 12-2pm, Garendon Room, Charles Wilson, 4th Floor

This session aims to bring together researchers across a variety of disciplines to explore collectively ‘heritage research’ as it is currently being undertaken at the University. One of our aims is to bring together a 'heritage research unbounded' type of discussion, including people across the College who research the personal, cultural, economic, political and social impact and significance of the uses of the past (urban structures, structures of memory, social structures, historical structures etc.). We are hoping to curate a research conversation that takes the understanding of 'heritage research' beyond its more traditional disciplinary boundaries.
