Getting started

networking.jpgThe Research and Enterprise Division aims to make projects with industry as simple as possible and can provide as much or as little support as you require.

Follow the steps below to get started:

1) The first step in any enterprise project is to talk to your college’s research and enterprise contact. They will be able to guide you through the process and provide advice. There is no obligation to take on a project if it’s not the right opportunity for you.

2) If you are interested in enterprise but don’t have a project lined up, talking to your enterprise team will help them scout out opportunities for you.

Contracts and agreements signing3) If you have been approached by a company and would like to take the project on, your research and enterprise team will provide the necessary guidance and support. This may include looking at the contracts and paperwork to make sure your best interests are being met – this is particularly important if you are new to enterprise.

Once all the appropriate paperwork is in place, you are free to begin your project – enjoy!
