Please report to the foyer of Athena where a representative of the press office or events team will escort you to the media opp area. Interviews can also be filmed on the balcony overlooking the stage.

Media must be on site by 5pm

Lord Winston will be delivering the University’s flagship Chancellor’s Distinguished Lecture from 6-7pm, entitled ‘Misusing Science’. Tickets have sold out for the event but a limited number of press tickets are still available. Please indicate when registering your attendance whether you would like to stay for the lecture.

About Lord Winston

Lord Winston is Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London. For over forty years he has pioneered techniques to improve fertility treatments and has produced over 300 scientific publications.

 

In addition to his medical and academic successes, Robert Winston has also presented many BBC television series, including Making Babies, Superhuman, The Secret Life of Twins, Child of Our Time, Human Instinct, The Human Mind, Frontiers of Medicine and the BAFTA award-winning The Human Body.
