Introduction to Grievances (Online Resource)

The course contains all the material you will need. You can enrol on this course yourself and it should take you about one and a half hours to complete.

Overview

This online resource provides the following learning outcomes:

  • Understand what a grievance is from a legal and organisational perspective
  • Understand the implications of grievances both human and financial
  • Understand how management behaviour could contribute to grievances being raised
  • Help you recognise the early signs and perhaps avert potential grievances

Access the online resource and self enrol

This online resource is accessible via Blackboard, the University’s virtual learning environment (VLE). To access Blackboard, use your University IT account username and password. You will then be able to self enrol onto this online resource.

 

1.  Go to http://blackboard.le.ac.uk

2.  Login using your University IT account username and password

3.  Click on the Courses tab at the top right.

4.  Under Course Search type 'People Management Courses

5.  Locate the course called SDC0018 People Management Courses

6.  Click the double arrows under the Course ID: SDC0018

7.  Click Enrol then Submit

8.  And, you are in!
